Μια τέτοια σχεδιάστρια μόδας είναι και η Αφροδίτη Χερά, με την δουλειά της να ξεχωρίζει και να αναγνωρίζεται και πέρα από τα σύνορα της Κύπρου.

Πριν από λίγες ημέρες και συγκεκριμένα την Δευτέρα 19 Φεβρουαρίου, η σχεδιάστρια μόδας ήταν καλεσμένη στο Buckingham Palace, για τις ανάγκες της εκδήλωσης «The Commonwealth fashion exchange». Εκεί βρέθηκαν σχεδιαστές από 53 χώρες της κοινοπολιτείας, και μια από τους σχεδιαστές ήταν και η Κύπρια Αφροδίτη Χερά.

Παρών στην εκδήλωση έδωσα μεταξύ άλλων η Δούκισσα του Cambridge, Kate Middleton, η Κόμισσα του Wessex, Sophie αλλά και άνθρωποι της μόδας από όλο τον κόσμο.

Η ίδια μέσα από τον προσωπικό της λογαριασμό στο Instagram ανέβασε φωτογραφίες από αυτή την μοναδική εμπειρία, επισημαίνοντας πόσο μεγάλη τιμή είναι για εκείνην να γνωρίσει τη Βασίλισσα Ελισάβετ, τη Δούκισσα και την Κόμισσα, ενώ σε μια φωτογραφία την είδαμε δίπλα από την Anna Wintour, αρχισυντάκτρια της Vogue Αμερικής και ιέρεια του στυλ!

On behalf of Her Majesty The Queen, Head of the Commonwealth, HRH The Duchess of Cambridge and HRH The Countess of Wessex this evening hosted a reception to celebrate and showcase designs, designers and artisans from across the Commonwealth's 53 countries who have participated in the inaugural Commonwealth Fashion Exchange (CFE). The initiative was launched earlier this month by Commonwealth Secretary General the Rt Hon Patricia Scotland and Livia Firth, founder of sustainability consultancy Eco-Age who initiated and produced the ambitious Exchange project . This evening's reception saw 30 CFE creations displayed in the Palace's State Apartment. From Thursday February 22 the design looks showcased will be displayed at the new exhibition at Australia House on the Strand before being exhibited during the Commonwealth Summit itself. The exhibition has been carefully curated by VOGUE's International Editor at Large, @hamishbowles. The Palace celebration included guests from the fashion industry across the Commonwealth nation with attendees including Anna Wintour, @edward_enninful , @liviafirth, Nadja Swarovski, @neelamkg , Nigel Gosse, Ulric Jerome, @iamnaomicampbell, @StellaMcCartney, @adwoaaboah, and Caroline Rush alongside many of the designers and artisans who created the CFE designs and representatives of the newly-affiliated Commonwealth Fashion Council.
